The Honorable David Adelman, U.S. Ambassador to Singapore visited
Lansing, Michigan Wednesday, September 14th, 2011.

The event was hosted by MSU and the Global Business Club of Mid-Michigan which was successful in bringing together a multitude of attendees. Three Michigan Companies were awarded the US Commercial Service's Export Achievement Award; for that we are pleased to congratulate these West Michigan companies on their success doing business abroad, those of which include Dawn Foods, Neogen Corp, and Viking Spas.

We hope that all attendees were able to take away valuable information that will help them grow their Michigan business and export their products abroad.

Michigan companies with fewer than 500 employees can qualify for financial assistance for export-related activities through the new State Trade Export Promotion (STEP) program offered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
