The East Michigan Office of the U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Department of Commerce is pleased to offer a 1-day seminar on selling into the 28 countries of the European Union (EU), collectively the largest export market for U.S. products in the world.

Michigan companies interested in initiating or expanding sales to the 28 European Union member countries. Learn about these markets, get questions answered, and meet one-on-one with Embassy specialists to determine next steps in your export growth strategy.

 

Why These Countries?

The United States and the European Union, with its 28 member states, enjoy an economic relationship that is characterized by nearly $4 trillion in two-way investment as well as a massive merchandise trade of $787 billion in 2013 - double the level from 2000. It is estimated that transatlantic commerce generates more than 15 million jobs. The U.S.-EU economic relationship is already the world’s largest, accounting for one-third of total trade in goods and services and nearly half of global economic output.
